My beginners Digital SLR workshop is a full & fun day of hands-on tuition, providing you with the skills to get better results from your DSLR camera and get your camera off auto mode! This one day intensive course will teach you how to take advantage of the functions and features your DSLR camera has to offer and we will teach you a range of techniques enabling you to take photographs you can be proud of. We will also have a professional model for you to work with and hone your skills.

I will be holding a fine art nude photography course at Liverpool Livewire Studios on the 13th August 2011.
Throughout the session we will be working with a professional model to reaffirm the skills taught. Tuition is a hands on classroom” You will walk away from this course with the skills to develop and improve your photography techniques” Learn studio flash lighting, develop your understanding of studio technique and test using a photographic model.
One model will be provided for you to shoot with throughout the day. Advice on lighting directing and posing the model will be given throughout the session. The teaching is presented in an easy to understand and relaxed and entertaining manner.

Following a popular treasure hunt event at Tate Liverpool in 2008, Shoot Experience are returning to Liverpool this summer with their unique interactive photographic story-telling experience. Held at the Bluecoat, this Shoot Storyboard event will take Liverpool by storm on Saturday August 15th.
Teams begin the day at the Bluecoat, where they are given different parts of a pre-written story and sent into the local streets to find inspiration and take photos that respond to or represent each phrase or word.
At the end of the day, teams return to the Bluecoat to submit their photos and all the images are compiled to create a unique photographic storyboard.
Prizes are of course awarded for the best and quirkiest photographs, as participants relax after one of the most fun and creative days to be had in Liverpool.
After the event, there will be an exhibition of all of the images taken on the day at the Open Eye Gallery, Established in 1977, Open Eye Gallery is one of the UK's leading photography venues. Currently preparing for its ambitious move to the Liverpool waterfront in 2010, the Gallery is continuing, throughout 2009, to present occasional exhibitions and events.
